I warmly welcome you my studio in West Philadelphia.
My studio is filled with artwork from collections throughout my career. Available are large encaustic panels, works on paper in a handmade gum/oil emulsion, some early prints, and a few miniature encaustic paintings.
My daughter Sarah will have her fashion designs, which include clothing, accessories, and lifestyle items crafted with prints made from my artwork, available at my studio. Sarah Tremain is a sustainable fashion brand that combines fashion and art with a commitment to healing and community by creating original clothing that goes towards helping support healing services for people who have experienced sexual trauma.
As with my daughter, my artwork is about healing. I’m working to bring the skills I’ve used as an artist to heal myself for over 30 years into spaces of collective healing. I’m in my last semester at Community College of Philadelphia gaining a certificate in Behavioral Health & Human Services.
